A non-Christian's 50 Questions Challenge Answered
Answers by JWing
5 - How did Noah fit the millions and millions of species of animals on this planet into his ark? It doesn't take a mathematical genius to realize the physical impossibility of this.
Answer: Scientifically there are less than 1 mil non-microscopic & non-plant species, 1/2 of which live in the water, 80%-of remaining 1/2 are insects etc. After all is said and done there is plenty of room with room left over.
6 - If Noah did fit all of these species on the ark for forty days and forty nights, how did the penguins make it from Mt. Ararat to the Antarctic? How did the koala bears make it to Australia with no eucalyptus to eat along the way?
Answer: Science says animals can survive weeks without food but only days without water and migrate over 100s of miles quickly.

8 - How is it that the bible explains the earth to be 6,000 to 8,000 years old when we know that dinosaur bones are at least 65 million years old? This isn't the only example of our planet's age by any means, either.
Answer: We get the idea that dinosaur bones are millions of years old based on our carbon dating. We know that our carbon dating has almost zero percent reliability as we have had conflicting dates when testing the same fossil sample or even living matter.
1 - If God is omnipotent (all-powerful), why did he take six days to create everything? Why not speak everything into existence all at once?
Answer: I'm sure God could have, if he wanted to. But by creating in the order he did, he took away any other explanation of man for animals and plants evolving. You have bees that depend on plants being there and you have plants that can't survive without pollinators. Plants came in day 2 and bees in day 6. But evolution says they evolved separately and somehow over millions of year figured out the symbosis they have now. The plants would be extinct if they had to wait millions of years for bees to evolve. And bees would starved to death within days without the plant's flowers.
22 - Christians argue evolution by asking why there aren't any half-ape/half-men walking around today, right? Why don't we see giants, fiery talking serpents, talking donkeys and many other mythical creatures that are described in the Bible?
Answer: We do see giagantism in humans today. Look up Guinness Book of World Records for tallest man and woman. Now I don't know where in the Bible you see fiery talking serpents but you do have talking serpents because Satan possessed it. Also talking donkeys was due to God opening its mouth (not a regular occurrence).
26 - If God created everything, why did he create AIDS, influenza, ebola, ecoli and so on and so on? These, as viruses, are living things. You definitely can not use the free will card for this one. Is this another part of 'God's plan'?
Answer: Again when God created everything you didn't have death or disease etc. Those resulted from the free will choice to rebel against God. Scientist are continuously finding plants exist that can prevent cancer and kill bacteria. It was entirely possible, to scientist now, that some ancient plants and foods might have prevented many of the bacterias and virus we currently suffer from. Somewhere along the line those nutrients were lost in our diets or environment. Probably from a global flood that all cultures have in their mythologies.

10 - God wants everyone to worship and follow him and, if they don't, they burn in hell for all eternity. What does this type of attitude say about his character? By definition, he would be described as a tyrant.
Answer: God gives us and respects our freedom of choice. he doesn't want us to be with him, if we don't want to be with him. Unfortunately the only place he won't be is where Satan and his fallen angels are sentenced to spend eternity in punishment (Lake of Fire).
11 - If Jesus died on the cross and spent three days in hell to pay for the sins of the world, then why would we have to go to hell ourselves and pay for them again? God is then, in essence, being paid for our sins twice. With that said, was Jesus' sacrifice not worthy enough? If that is the case, why should we care that he died for our sins if his sacrifice means nothing at all?
Answer: Actually that is why God wants us to accept his payment. It is tragic when Jesus paid the debt for you only for you to reject that gift in favor of you paying your sin debt yourself out of pride. Why don't you accept Jesus payment right now and not try to pay it yourself.
12 - If God wants us all to follow and worship him, why didn't he create us as such? *Your expected answer will be addressed in the next question.
Answer: God doesn't want anything that is not freely and willingly given. If he didn't give us free will we would be robots and God would be a dictator.
19 - If, in the beginning, there was only God and he created everything, why would he create angels that had the propensity to defy him? This very fallacy led to Lucifer challenging his authority because he desired to share the same power as God. This led to the rise, or fall depending on how you look at it, of Satan, the most notorious enemy of God and his followers. Failed, again!
Answer: Again God give all his higher creations (are like him) with free will to love him or not. If your own children, whom you raised right, don't love you and chooses to rebel against you, does it make you a failure? Of course not. It makes your children the failure.
20 - Why would you trust 'God's plan' given his track record of many failures?
Answer: Refer to my previous answer.
13 - What good is it for us to have free will if the intention is for us not to use it? Sure, we can use our free will, but we will burn in hell for eternity if we do. Russian roulette, anybody? It sounds like a set-up to me.
Answer: You might have to freedom to do anything but you don't get to choose your consequences. hell's existence proves the freedom of choice. Hell is the ONLY place God will not be in the new heaven and earth. So if you choose not to be with God you go there by default. You have a choice to make.
18 - If God is omnipotent, why does he not just show himself to all of us, all at once, thereby ending this game of free will and temptation?
Answer: Again God respects our free will and won't take that from us. If he took free will from us, it would make God a tyrant. Also God just like any great artist stands back and lets his creation point you to him. You are surrounded by his art work. So why don't you recognize his existence?
15 - What purpose does hell serve? If it is punishment for sinful actions, shouldn't it be used for correctional purposes? Seeing as though you burn forever, you will never get out of hell to show that you have learned your lesson. Would it make sense to live a faithful Christian life glorifying the Lord and to accidentally sin by saying a curse word the instant you smash your car into the back of a tractor-trailer, thereby being condemned to burn in hell forever?
Answer: Matt 25:41 & Rev 12:9 make it clear that the Lake of Fire was created specifically for the Devil and his angels. People that have been saved can not lose their salvation even with a momentary slip up even at the end of their lives. Calvinism & most un-Biblical churches or cults teach you can lose your salvation if you don't keep yourself perfect. This is un-Biblical.
9 - Why can't the all-powerful God forgive someone of their sins after they die? Example: A Christian man that is seemingly on God's good list makes a stupid decision and decides to drink a little too much at the fish fry. On his way home he crashes into a mini-van killing a mother, her two children and his self. This man led a very faithful life and made one stupid, yet grave mistake. If this man did not ask for forgiveness of his sins before the electrical activity in his brain ceased, then God will judge him and send him to hell to burn for eternity.
Answer: Again you seem to have a very un-Biblical and Calvinistic theology at the heart of your problem. The Bible makes it clear that accepting Jesus gift of salvation forgives ALL your sins (past, present, and future). Jude ends by saying Jesus keeps you safe forever. Matt says whomever God draws will come and he will never let you go and niether will the Father let you go. And both Jesus and the Father are one holding you securely. Anyone who says Jesus doesn't forgive ALL your sins or you have to do anything beyond trusting Jesus to keep yourself saved is LYING to you. PERIOD.
16 - We know that we feel physical feelings through electrical impulses that send information to our brains through our nervous system. Once we die, we no longer feel pain due to the lack of a physical nervous system and, oh yeah, a brain. How could we 'feel' the excruciating flames of hell for eternity? Does God make you feel this torment for all eternity out of pure malice because you wouldn't worship him?
Answer: The Lake of Fire is a very real place, which is why God doesn't want us to have to be there. All we have to do is accept Jesus as Lord and Saviour. Again it wasn't designed for us in mind. It was for Satan and his angels but it is the only place anyone can go to be away from God for all of eternity. God's choice is simply if you willingly want to spend eternity with God in control of everything or not. If you don't God won't force himself upon you.

2 - Why won't God heal amputees?
Answer: Again I'm sure God could, if he so desired. But you have to understand the struggle and dependence upon others can bring amputees to God and has. How would spontaneous healing bring people's attention to God when the miracle of birth doesn't even do that?
3 - If God is so perfect, then why did he create something so imperfect allowing pain, suffering and daily atrocities?
Answer: When God created everything, there was no death, pain, suffering, etc. Death, pain, suffering, work, and atrocities only came into God's perfect creation as a result of sin (disobedience to God). This was not God's original design. One day creation will be returned to that perfect state but we can not go into that in our present sinful state. We must have our sins forgiven by the blood of Jesus.
4 - Why did the little old lady that God healed one Sunday need her walker to get around again next Sunday? Was she only temporarily worthy of a healing?
Answer: You are siting false healings like Benny hinn and others, who preach a healthy, wealthy, and wise gospel. Its a false gospel first off. Why are they false because TRUE healing brings all attention to God only. Those false preachers do these temporary healings if even that to bring glory and attention to themselves.
7 - Why do innocent children have to suffer with terminal diseases such as cancer? What part of 'God's plan' is this exactly?
Answer: I've seen such diseases draw the parents to God. And don't forget God did not create death but life and he promises life eternal if we simply put our trust in Jesus. For believers death isn't the end but the beginning of life, as Jesus will resurrect us one day to be forever with him.

14 - In the story of Sodom and Gomorrah, why would God kill Lot's wife, Sarah, by turning her into a pillar of salt for simply looking in the wrong direction? *Warning of impending sarcasm.* God is a merciful God........... right.
Answer: God is merciful to 1) get them all out of the city before he torched them. 2) pointing them away from city and telling them to run and not look back. Lot's wife (wasn't Sarah[Abram's wife]-we don't get Lot's wife's name) wasn't accidentally looking the wrong way. She purposely looked back after being told and urged not to look back. That is rebellion and she was overtaken by the fumes resulting from the destruction of the cities.
17 - If God is perfect and his creations perfect, why did he fail several times? He had to impose suffering upon the human race because Adam and Eve defied him by eating of the fruit from the tree of knowledge of good and evil. Failed! He had to flood the planet 1,600 years later wiping out all but eight humans. Failure! He had to confuse human language after Nimrod and the Tower of Babel incident so that they could not effectively communicate with each other. Failure! How is this a track record of a perfect being?
Answer: Death is the consequences of sin (disobedience to God's rules). God warned them the consequences but they choose to do it anyway and thereby ushered death and misery leading to death for us all. Yet God in his mercy offers to the whole world forgiveness thru Jesus' payment of those sins. It won't take away the fact that this current body is beyond repair, but it will ensure you are living with a God who can and will make us all a new body, if you are one of his adopted children thru Christ Jesus. Won't you accept Jesus today?
21 - A disciple of Christ, Thomas, was a skeptic. He walked with Jesus during his time on earth and physically witnessed with his own eyes certain miracles performed by him such as raising Lazarus from the dead and so forth. However, after the crucifixion, Jesus supposedly rose three days later and Thomas did not believe it was truly him despite being told, prior to the incident by Jesus, that he would rise again in three days. Thomas required physical proof. Jesus allowed him to touch him and feel the wounds in his body to offer that proof to Thomas. Why doesn't god extend the same proof to humans alive today? Those that doubt his existence are no different than Thomas, requiring physical proof and he was a disciple of Jesus himself. If Thomas had been born one generation later, or even living today, he would have burned in hell for all eternity because he would not believe for the lack of physical proof. Paul was born after the death and ascension of Christ. Throughout his life, he did not believe that Jesus was the son of God and even went out of his way to persecute and murder Christians thinking that their religion was a dangerous belief system to practice. Lo and behold a flash of light came out of the sky and Jesus Christ himself appeared to Paul explaining to him that he is actually the one true god. Jesus told him that he was persecuting the followers of the only true faith. From that point on, Paul was a converted Christian. Again, if God was willing to go out of his way to physically prove to Paul that he actually exists, why is this not done today? Why isn't God willing to show those that doubt today the same degree of physical proof? Why should we be any different than Thomas and Paul?
Answer: The proof that there is a God is quite literally anywhere we look. Maybe God doesn't allow for booming voices anymore, since people can fake it these days with certain technology. But God's fingerprints are literally all over nature and the universe.
23 - If we are to only have sex for the purpose of pro-creation, and to do so outside of the scope of pro-creation is sinful, then why would God create us with an over abundance of nerve endings in our reproductive organs making sex extremely pleasurable? It sounds like yet another set-up.
Answer: That is a Catholic view of sex, which is un-Biblical. The Bible states plainly that God created sex specifically between a man and woman to be enjoyed within the bounds of marriage only. Why? Because without the dedication of the parents to each other the resultant child can not be raised correctly and with a fear of God. Surely anyone can see the mess single parent or in some cases parentless families create. This is not God's will.
24 - Why do Christians share the same statistical rate of divorce as everyone else? "What God hath made, let no man put asunder." How could Christian marriages fail if they are sanctified by God? Hmmmm.... interesting.
Answer: Simply put Christians are not glorified people yet. We still struggle with a sinful body and mind despite our souls being born again. What Christians are tho: are forgiven sinners. God doesn't hold us guilty anymore because of our sin. And we try to not sin, like divorce or cheating on our spouse, out of appreciation for what Jesus has done for us. But we are still human and slip up a lot.
25 - In the book of Luke chapter 19 verse 27, Jesus says, "But those mine enemies, which would not that I should reign over them, bring hither, and slay them before me." This seems pretty clear that Jesus would have Christians kill all non-believers. How do you explain this? Convert them or kill them, right?
Answer: This is what we call completely out of context. Take one verse without looking at its surrounding verses or chapter.
Luke 19:11-12 (KJV)
11 And as they heard these things, he added and spake a parable, because he was nigh to Jerusalem, and because they thought that the kingdom of God should immediately appear.
12 He said therefore, A certain nobleman went into a far country to receive for himself a kingdom, and to return.
Notice verse 12-27 is a parable, earthly story with a spiritual meaning. So take it as such. We are told not to kill and to even treat our enemies with love. how does that stack up against what you took away from this one verse out of context?
27 - How can God answer a prayer giving a working-class man in the United States a raise at his place of employment so that he can move his family into a larger house, but he does not answer the prayers to stop the starvation and disease of millions upon millions of children around the world? This must be another infinitely wise part of 'God's plan'.
Answer: Just because non-Biblical false teachers like Benny Hinn and others teach a prosperity gospel doesn't mean its true. God is not obligated to give his children wealth. In fact he usually doesn't because it would spoil us. The prosperity gospel makes people feel good cuz as long as you are wealthy and healthy you are saved. God says all over the Bible, one is saved by repenting of one's sins and accepting Jesus sacrifice on the cross. The prosperity gospel is a false gospel that won't save anyone who believes in $$.
28 - If God's word is supposed to be the accurate word of God himself, how are we supposed to trust it enough to model our lives after it 100% when hundreds of books were excluded from the original text throughout so many translations and revisions in history?
Answer: Anyone who says there are hundreds of books excluded from the Bible does not know the history behind the Bible text and that they make references to existing historical books of the day, like we do for Shakespeare or the Constitution. Anyone who claims there are many translations and revisions to the Bible are referring to the recent corruptions like the NIV, NLT, etc. The KJB is the only real accurate and faithful translation from the Greek. All manuscripts with 5% exception rate have been found to agree with the KJB. This is out of over 5000 manuscripts found.
29 - Why is there no evidence of any of the miracles performed by God? None whatsoever.
Answer: What you fail to understand are God is in 3 persons (Father, Son, & holy Spirit). Any miracle done by any one of them is a miracle done by God. What about the parting of the Red Sea, Jordan, raining of Mana, killing of the Assyrians, Daniel & the Lions, the Fiery Furnace, feeding of 5000, casting out of demons, raising Lazarus, etc. Is that nothing to you?
30 - If God and Jesus are the same, having the same mind, knowledge and power, then why would Jesus beg himself in the garden of Gethsemane, to spare himself from having to be crucified? Furthermore, why would Jesus ask himself why he has forsaken himself by allowing himself to be crucified?
Answer: 3 distinct persons but still one God. how can any of us understand this Trinity when we can't understand our own trinity (body, mind, soul)? Your soul askes your mind every morning to wake up. In essence you are asking yourself to pull up energy to wake up. Makes no sense either does it?
31 - If you believe that your eternal life is more important than your physical life and you believe that all children are innocent in the eyes of God, why not kill your children so they are guaranteed to go to heaven? You can't tell me that it is because killing is a sin. First of all, you could repent thereafter and be forgiven. Secondly, if you would sacrifice your life for your child who is about to be hit by a train, and you believe your eternal life is more important than this life, then it would stand to reason that you should kill your children to ensure their entrance into heaven before they are old enough to be held accountable for being a creature of sin, right?
Answer: Children are sinful from conception. So like all of us we have to accept Jesus as Saviour. What happens before the age they can make decisions, no one knows but the Bible suggests that it might depend upon the parents up until the point. But nowhere are children guarenteed heaven. And remember "Thou shall not kill."
32 - If you do believe that children are innocent in the eyes of God, wouldn't it be reasonable to suggest that abortion doctors are winning more souls for Christ than Christian missionaries? Why not bomb a pre-school? That would surely win a lot of souls for Christ.
Answer: Children are born sinful. Obviously you forgot the "Thou shalt not kill." command.
33 - If you do not believe that children are innocent in the eyes of God, wouldn't it be fair to suggest that God is a monster for sending babies and toddlers to hell upon their death? Do you see the conundrum here?
Answer: Children are born sinful. You can tell by how they can learn bad stuff seemingly despite our best efforts. No one is born good nor innocent. Usually children take after their parents and make the same mistakes in their life as the parents did. So I believe dead children from Christians might be saved by God despite them not making a choice to accept Jesus because most likely under the Christian parents efforts and love they would have. But only God knows. Notice David's baby with Bathsheba after it was dead, David said he would go to be with him some day.
34 - It is a common belief among Christians that the only unforgivable sin is consciously rejecting Christ as Lord and savior. With that said, it is also believed by Christians that those who have never heard of Jesus and the Christian faith, i.e. individuals within an isolated tribe, babies and so forth, have no concept of Christ and can not, therefore, be in the position to consciously reject him. This would allow them entrance into heaven by default. With that said, why would you tell anyone about Christ? Why would you spread the word if that would put them in the position to consciously reject him? If they are already going to heaven due to their ignorance of the word of God, why not just let that be? You would, in effect, be losing more souls to Satan by spreading the word. You might want to rethink that whole "fishers of men" thing.
Answer: Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Rom3:11 There is none that seeketh after God. Rom1:20 says that God can be seen in the things he created so ALL are without excuse for not knowing him. God's gospel gives you power to choose or reject God, when heard. So choose God.
35 - Imagine that I had the power and ability to feed millions and end all suffering. Now, imagine that I simply chose not to do so because these millions of people that are suffering did not like me. You would probably like me even less then, right? Then why does God get a 'get out of jail free card' on that one? Wait a minute, 'God's plan,' right? Gotcha.
Answer: Like with any anonymous group, you have to admit you have a problem, need help, and go to the person who can help you in humility before that person can help you. If you force your help on people, who think they go the problem solved, they call you pushy and a dictator. Again God respects our free will and won't force himself upon us, if we don't want his help.
36 - Why are more atrocities committed in the name of God than anything else?
Answer: Because man is inherently sinful to the core and always looking for new way to hurt others. And if they can use religion to justify them hurting others, they will. But what these people are forgetting is the 10 commandments and Jesus' 2 commandments prohibit killing other humans.
37 - The bible states that it is easier for a camel to fit through the eye of a needle than it is for a rich man to enter the kingdom of heaven. If it is fairly difficult for the rich to go to heaven then why are there wealthy Christians? Why wouldn't these rich Christians give up all of their wealth to make it easier for them to enter the kingdom of heaven and help out their fellow man because their God won't?
Answer: Camel thru eye of a needle doesn't make since because we aren't familiar with the background information. Eye of the needle was actually a hole in the city walls that is close to the ground the hieght of a person to walk thru carrying packages when the city gate were closed in the evenings. A camel could make it thru that opening but only by unloading them completely and having them kneel and scoot on its knees thru the opening. But the analogy is correct, it is difficult for rich people, trusting in their riches to enter the kingdom of God.
The Bible doesn't say you have to give up all your wealth in order to enter heaven. It says you can not enter heaven if you put your trust in riches. Being rich is not a crime. What you do with it can be. How you accumulate it also can be.
38 - Building upon the previous question, if it is almost impossible for the rich to enter the kingdom of heaven, then why would God create heaven as having pearly gates, streets of gold and many mansions? It sounds like he wants us to be poor in life so that we will want to be rich in the afterlife, maybe? Is God using the sinful value of greed to attract humans to believe in him? Does that make any sense whatsoever?
Answer: Also the translation except for the KJV omits a crucial phrase Jesus included. Mk10:24 "how hard is it for them that trust in riches to enter into the kingdom of God!"
39 - If God is perfect then his creations should be perfect, right? Then that would mean that the earth is a perfect creation. Then why would God have to create another perfect place, heaven, and use it to entice us to believe in him? What kind of assurance do we have that heaven would be any better than his other 'perfect' creation, earth?
Answer: God did create a perfect place and placed humans in it giving them free will. humans used their free will to completely wreck God's perfect creation. That is why God is going to create another perfect heaven & earth and wipe out the old tainted ones. But this time he is only going to let humans who actually want to live with God as their ruler live there. Anyone who doesn't want to live in a world with God as ruler will go to the only place there won't be God and that is the Lake of Fire.
40 - God allowed Jesus to be tempted as a human by Satan in the wilderness of the desert. Again, if God and Jesus are the same entity, then what kind of sense does it make for God to allow himself to be tempted by Satan in the wilderness to see if he would give in to the temptation? In addition to that, if he were all-knowing, he would have already known the outcome and, therefore, could have avoided the whole thing all together.
Answer: God is 3 distinct persons. We don't fully understand how it works but it does. God needs to have Jesus as 100% God but also 100% man. If he is 100% man and doesn't go thru what man has to, what kind of man is that? What would that say about God's justice is he isn't fair to all men? So of course Jesus had to be tempted like us.
41 - If heaven is to be a place free of sadness, pain and suffering, then how can you be happy in heaven knowing that the vast majority of humankind is painfully burning for eternity, especially when some of them may be your loved ones?
Answer: We will probably recognize that these people of their own free will rejected God and exist in the only place God can put them that doesn't have God's presence. Its not that we won't wish they had made the choice but how can you cure someone who desperately wants to be his/her own god? You let them.
42 - Seeing as though everything we, including Christians, enjoy in the modern world is a product of science, why do Christians so fervently deny factual scientific evidence that disproves so many aspects of the bible and their religion as a whole?
Answer: Find any "scientific facts" that disprove the Bible and I will show you how a "scientific fact" that is not correctly understood. All science points to a creator due to the shear complexity of nature.
43 - If Christianity is the only true religion, then why do practitioners of all other religions feel fulfilled in their faith and achieve the same desired results as Christians?
Answer: Other religions have a god that could care less about you falling off the face of the earth or makes you, your own god. Christianity is about a God that cares so much about you that he offers to take your place on death row and offers to adopt you as his child on earth. The offer is free of charge and yours for the accepting.
44 - If God created everything, then why did he create the tree of knowledge of good and evil and put it right in the middle of the Garden of Eden for Eve to eat of its fruit if he didn't want her to? Furthermore, why did God create the serpent that tempted Eve? Uh-oh, it sounds like another possible set-up.
Answer: God makes it clear after the fall that the forbidden tree was intended for Adam & Eve to eat from eventually and live forever. But it wasn't for them before they were ready. If Adam & Eve had simply trusted God they would have had it all including the eternal life without death. Just like children that want a dangerous toy before the know how sharp edges can injure them, a parent would withold the toy and tell the child he can have it when he's older. But does the kid think that's fair or that the parent is withholding the toy to protect them? No of course not.
45 - In the beginning God created Adam and Eve, right? Then Adam and Eve had Cain and Abel. What happens next? How did the species propagate itself? Incest is genetically detrimental to offspring. It is also seen as being terribly immoral among the majority of people alive today, including Christians. There was either some incest going on or God created more people from scratch and we weren't told about it. The same scenario applies to the flood incident. Sure, Noah's three sons had wives, but that would still mean that, out of the eight remaining individuals on the planet, there is only a 50% variation of genetic code. Mathematically, inbreeding was sure to be necessary to replenish the earth.
Answer: Is marrying cousin once or twice removed considered incest? I don't think so as the genetic variation is enough. Bible is clear that incest between parent and child isn't right, altho Lot's daughters are recording doing it. It just shows the Bible is trustworthy and not doctored.
46 - Why does God allow things to happen among his followers that he has already deemed to be sinful, i.e. incest example above, "thou shall not kill" and so forth, and it is alright as long as it is done in his name? Remember, more deaths have occurred in history in God's name.
Answer: You would allow consequences to bad decisions to happen to your own children to help them learn. What kind of parent saves their children from all consequences? God doesn't save us from consequences, but like a good parent he promises to help us through it and ensure we survive it to learn something from it. Most deaths in history have been caused by people professing God but not obeying God's laws esp loving your enemy.
47 - How did Adam live to 930, Seth 912 and Methuselah 969 years old when anthropological evidence shows that we have progressively increased our longevity throughout history? If they did live that long back then, this concept would be reversed and our longevity should have been decreasing throughout history, right? That would mean that people 500 years ago should have lived to at least 200 years old. Why do we not find evidence of this throughout written historical birth and death records as well as archaeological and anthropological evidence?
48 - God has killed more people than Adolf Hitler, Benito Mussolini, Sadam Hussein, Milosevic, Osama Bin Laden and Jim Jones combined. Why would you not follow them instead of God? Based on this standard, these monsters are compassionate compared to God.
Answer: The facts do not match up with this claim. Many monsters such as Hilter claimed to be Christian but were not. In fact Hitler claimed to be a fervent Catholic and his exterminations were condoned by the pope of his time. What does that tell you about Catholism's value of human life. However a Bible believing Christian who lives by God's rules would not kill mirroring his compassionate God. Which God would you like to embrace?
49 - Why is it that when a Christian is faced with questions that have huge negative implications towards the logic of their faith, they conveniently say that it is in God's plan? Is the scope of their own understanding of the religion and God they have offered their souls to so limited that their only answer is 'God's plan'? Judging by the above mentioned failures, God's plan does not seem to be a very good one.
Answer: Christians can't answer because there has been a systematic attack upon them and the word of God, changing it by omission. When you corrupt the word of God which is the foundation of your understanding of God, your ability to understand God is compromised. But as we have seen above God is a God of perfect logic and scientific complexity. He is also a God of love, justice, and freedom. He holds out salvation as a gift, free of charge. And He begs you to accept it of your own free will. If you refuse the gift, what more can He do?
50 - Why would God give us the capability of logic and reason and expect us not to use it when it comes to belief in him and his word?
Answer: Only Calvinism says you have no choice in salvation, that God randomly elects people to save and the rest to damn. But the Bible says otherwise. Isaiah 1:18 says 'Come now, and let us reason together, saith the Lord:' Deu 30:19 says 'that I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing: therefore choose life,' Romans 10:17 says 'So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.' You have a choice to make. Won't you choose Jesus today?
