Spawn of False Teachingsby Jwing
Romans 10:8-9
8 But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach; 9 That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Word of Faith false gospel that can't get you to Heaven

Notice their central verse Roman 10:8 talks about the word of faith, However they completely disregard the verse right after it says that it is a confession that Jesus is God and that He rose from the dead to be saved. This is classic false teaching to take verses out of context by ignoring other verses close by that debunk the view held by the verse they choose to focus upon.
False Doctrine always spawns more false doctrine. This is what happens any time the basic supporting doctrine is wrong. All subsequent doctrines following will likewise be incorrect. You know there is a serious problem, when what they preach has more in common with witchcraft that is CLEARLY forbidden in scripture, than with holy scripture. Witchcraft or Wiccan and New Age believe in the inherent power of the spoken words because humans have power within themselves. It is the same idea that the Harry Potter novels and movies prey upon, man's inherent desire to be unwittingly powerful. None of these people want to acknowledge that God alone is God and man can never handle the power.
Now these preachers might be dressed well and have smooth talk but in reality they carry dangerous messages. The Bible even foretells this:

2 Timothy 4:2-4 (KJV)
2 Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine. 3 For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; 4 And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. |
